Safe APU serves as the official safety application for Azusa Pacific University, uniquely integrated with the institution’s safety and security systems. Developed by Campus Safety, the app aims to enhance safety for students, faculty, and staff through real-time alerts and immediate access to campus security resources.

Key features of Safe APU include:

<li>Emergency Contacts: Easily access the appropriate emergency and non-emergency services relevant to the Azusa Pacific University area.</li>
<li>Mobile Bluelight: Share your real-time location with campus security during a crisis situation.</li>
<li>Friend Walk: Send your location via email or SMS to a trusted contact. Upon acceptance, your friend can monitor your progress to ensure you arrive safely at your destination.</li>
<li>Tip Reporting: Report safety or security concerns directly to campus security through multiple channels within the app.</li>
<li>Safety Toolbox: A suite of tools designed to support personal safety, including:

 <li>Notification History: Review previous alerts sent through the app with timestamps.</li>
 <li>Share Map with Your Location: Send a map showing your current position to a trusted contact.</li>
 <li>I’m OK!: Send your location along with an assurance message to a designated recipient.</li>
